I do not know if it has happened, but on more than one occasion, I have conceived projects that – despite looking promising and with all circumstances in favor – ended in a resounding failure.
Of course, in addition to collecting the spoils of an idea or plan that could have been wonderful, I experienced frustration and — on more than one occasion — I was struck by the conviction of not trying again.
Am I the only one? I can intuit that you are smiling. It has happened to you as many times as it did to me.
The reason is simple. We generally make plans without counting on the will of God. We trust only in our attitudes and aptitudes, and we believe that it is enough.
The result is an absolute failure. I will share with you three practical but straightforward principles that will allow the materialization of everything you crave.
1. Change the course of history
If so far, your life has been a succession of failures, choose to change the course of history. No one but you can make that decision.
To do so, focus on a biblical passage that prints changes in our way of thinking and acting. You will find it in the book of Psalms: “Entrust your way to Jehovah, and trust him, and he will do.” (Psalm 37: 5)
This passage teaches us three essential pillars:
- Submit all our plans and projects in the hands of the Lord.
- Deposit all our trust in God.
- Wait in God’s time.
Meditate on these patterns of life. Take them to practice. You will find that everything changes, both in your life and that of your family. It is the first step to be successful.
2. Let God control your projects
The projects that you have conceived can be very good, but pretending to materialize in your own strengths can lead you to experience unpleasant surprises; everything ends badly.
The Bible recommends: “Put into the hands of the Lord everything you do so that your plans come true.” ( Proverbs 16: 3. A version of God’s Word for all)
It is not a single project that Scripture demands, but the totality of what we plan. The result will be a successful conclusion. We will stop facing the frustration of doing things our way. God has unlimited power that will work for us.
3. Render your life to Christ
The origin of our failures is to set aside God in what we think and do. It is time to turn to Him. The best way to do it is to receive
Jesus in our hearts as Lord and Savior.
Make this decision. It is the best you can ever assume. We can assure you that you will print a definitive change in your existence, and in particular, in what you plan to make towards the future.
